Most people have been affected by a vaccine-preventable disease. The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID) understands the devastating impact diseases and infections have on individuals, families and friends.

If you have a story about how an adolescent has been affected by a vaccine-preventable disease, or how your own experience influenced the decisions you made about vaccinating your adolescent, please share it with us. Your story will help illustrate how serious and sometimes deadly infectious diseases can be, and help encourage others to protect children at all ages against sickness by doing one of the simplest preventive care measures available — getting vaccinated.

Please fill out the information fields below to submit your story. Stories can also be emailed directly to .

NFID will review the information for editorial style, but will not approve, endorse or verify its accuracy. All stories may not be posted, but we encourage submissions. If you would like to remain anonymous, please indicate so in your story.
